MOTORCYCLE LICENSE PLATE COLLECTION

Back               Home

A special thanks to all who have helped in my collecting ventures.

The following is in no way all inclusive, but rather a list of people who deal in and/or collect Motorcycle License Plates. I have dealt with each and everyone of them and all are of the highest integrity and get a 5 Star Rating. In all probability, someone listed below will have something to add to your M/C collection.

Arthur Rattenni

The late Arther Rattenni was a very well known License Plate Collector who will be missed by all. Many of the American Indian Tribal Plates in my collection are attributed to Mr. Rattenni after his passing. I will thank him here, because sadly, I will never be able to thank him personally.

Vance "VMAN" Fulkerson                VMAN's Website

The inspiration behind this website and to which all other MC Plate websites are compared. A true "virtual" friend who has helped me in ways I will not ever be able to repay. If you are into Motorcycle License Plates, this is the Mecca, you gotta go here. Vman collects Handicap, Veteran, Military and Harley related vanity plates as well as special and unusual  Motorcycle plates.  An impressive Indiana State Run and a near complete 1957 Birth year run are to be seen here. Vman needs a 57 Louisiana, if you can help him out, please contact him.

Jeff Francis                                     Piccadilly Museum

This gentleman has more plates (Pass., MC, you name it) than most have ever seen. His website has a VERY small sampling of plates and transportation memorabilia that he has. Jeff has helped me to great lengths on my 60 run and many others. Many thanks are due here as well.

Al "AZUSA" Barcelow                       Al's Homepage

One of the nicest gentlemen you could ever meet.  Has an extensive collection (and vast knowledge) of California plates in all categories. Al helped me in the early days and still does today.  A class act gentleman and many thanks to him.

Dave Lincoln                                   tagbarn@msn.com

Dave is one of the great "Old Timers" that got into this hobby at an early age. An avid collector that is in a league of his own. He is always buying and selling, so check here, he can probably help you out.  His most wanted M/C plates are a 1956 Nevada and 1922 through 26 Delaware plates. If you can help him out, please contact him.

Joe "Tigerdude" Sallmen                     Tigerdude.com

This guy has an affliction for Tigger's and license plates. His particular interests (other than tiggers) are in Japanese and Canadian plates but has a vast collection of others as well.  Well known in collector circles and a great guy.  Helped me tremendously with my 60 run. Many thanks go here. If you can help Joe out with older Canadian and Japanese plates, please contact him.

Amy & Dave                                           PL8S4U

These wonderful folks have helped me immensely in virtually every category I have on this website. An online store specializing in North American passenger, motorcycle, and non-passenger license plates. An ever changing stock and fine people too. Check them out, and if you don't see it, ask.

Alan Betts                                      acbetts@comcast.net

Drew Steitz                                           Drewski's

Another fella with more plates than he knows what to do with.  Fantastic website and plates galore. Very informative information to be found here. Publisher of PL8S Magazine, the one that fills in the monthly gaps of ALPCA's Register. Thanks to Drewski for his help.

Jim Smith                                      smitty137@msn.com

License Plates of the World                  World Plates

This is License Plate overload.  If it's out there and related to plates, it's probably here. Don't get in a hurry, license plates galore.  Great website to go look and see what you wished you had.

ALPCA                                                 alpca.org

This is where you get started if your serious about collecting.  Worth the membership for the Archives Section alone. Archives are great source of information and are continuously updated.

RT's Blank Plates                                R.T.'s Blanks

RT creates very nice blanks for use on the internet in 100x50 format.  Excellent selection and where I got the ones for use on my home page. RT does great work, so check him out.

Acme License Maker                          License Maker

This is a really cool site.  Make your own customized license plate and then save as a .jpeg and use anywhere. RT's Blanks are used as a license plate base. Fun to play with even if you don't save em and use em.
